Primary Teacher (QTS) SEN

Company: Hartmore Education Ltd, Staunton, Gloucestershire.

Location: Gloucester Central. Gloucestershire.  
Salary: M1-M6 £30,000-£43,607 depending on skills and experience.
             (Term time only, 39 weeks a year).
         Job Type: Permanent.

  Hartmore School is a growing, specialist independent day school offering primary and secondary placements for boys and girls aged 7 to 18, helping those with anxiety and, at times, a complex mix of needs. Role Overview

  Hartmore is going through exciting developments, as we continue to expand we are seeking a qualified teacher to work in our primary provision as we continue to increase the number of children we help. We welcome applications from all levels of practice form those both currently work in the SEN education sector or those seeking to expand their career journey into SEN education. This position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives by being compassionate, emotionally resilient and having a positive demeanour to support both teachers and learners. ​​

What We're Looking For

  • An individual with a positive demeanour with a proven track record of excellent teaching.

  • A caring and emotionally resilient nature, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and places the child at the centre of everything they do.

  • Creative, practical, or interpersonal skills such as music, sport, crafting, or tutoring add value to your application.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • 21 years of age or older.

  • A valid UK manual driving licence (essential for transporting young people).

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (company funded).​​

 

The Successful Candidate Will

• Teach at KS2.

• Lead a team of TAs within the classroom.

• Join a team of teachers including subject specialists, and offer teaching in other subjects (in discussion with the school).
