Our Safeguarding Team

At Hartmore School, keeping every pupil safe and well is our highest priority. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) has overall responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school. They are supported by our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (Deputy DSLs), who are trained to the same standard and act on the DSL’s behalf when needed. Together, they handle any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, work closely with families and outside agencies such as children’s social care, and make sure the right support is in place. Please contact a member of the safeguarding team if you are worried that a pupil may be at risk of harm, if a child has told you something that concerns you, or if you would like advice about a safeguarding matter. No concern is too small, and every concern will be taken seriously.
